Hamza and Quinten: How a Nomentia Certificate enhances their work in Treasury
Hamza and Quinten recently earned their Nomentia certification, a significant milestone for anyone working with Treasury Management Systems (TMS). For them, the certificate goes beyond a diploma: it provides practical knowledge on how to use the system optimally in daily practice for our clients.
“We have many projects where Nomentia plays a central role”
The motivation to obtain the certificate was clear. Nomentia is rapidly growing as a TMS and is increasingly used by companies as a payment hub. “We have many projects where Nomentia plays a central role,” explains Hamza. Quinten adds that it was also a strategic choice from their team: employees who are proficient with the tool can contribute to implementations faster and support clients more effectively.
The preparation for the certification proved surprisingly straightforward. Hamza mentions that the exam itself was not complicated. You mainly need to go through all the materials: PowerPoints, videos, and manuals. “If you do that, it’s quite intuitive,” he says. Quinten emphasizes, “It’s less about cash management theory and more about how you can use Nomentia to simplify processes.”
Still, some modules required extra attention. The module on bank connectivity turned out to be one of the biggest challenges. Hamza explains, “It involves different types of bank connections, SFTP procedures, and correct configuration. That required extra focus, but it also gave us a lot of insight into how the system works.” According to Quinten, this knowledge is very useful for clients: “If a client has questions about bank connections or specific modules, you can now provide much more targeted support.”
“You can independently carry out functional parts of implementations and provide focused support to clients.”
What the certification primarily offers is insight and practical skills in Nomentia. Hamza notes that his perspective on Treasury hasn’t changed much, but he now better understands what the system can mean for companies. Quinten adds that the real value lies in practical application: “You can independently carry out functional parts of implementations and provide focused support to clients. The certificate teaches you how to apply the system optimally.”
For Hamza and Quinten, the certification is not only about knowledge but about increasing their effectiveness in projects and client interactions. “It’s less about what you already know about Treasury,” they conclude, “and more about how you use Nomentia to fully and efficiently support clients in implementing and managing daily treasury activities.”
With their certification in hand, Hamza and Quinten are ready to take the next steps in their careers and help companies get the most out of their Treasury Management System.
